Heat-not-burn (HNB) products are different from vapes and e-cigarettes in that the latter two make use of e-juice or nicotine in liquid form. People who vape or smoke e-cigarettes can also get e-juice without nicotine. On the other hand, HNB products use COO tobacco sticks, which are sources of nicotine but in solid form. Because of the difference in the tobacco forms used, HNB products typically provide effects and flavors similar to that of traditional cigarettes as compared to the other two. Unlike normal cigarettes, however, the tobacco is heated rather than burned – as the name suggests.

MOK products are available at select convenience stores and mall kiosks nationwide. You may also order them at Shopee or Lazada.

Much like the normal mode, the double mode of MOK 1.9 requires a 15-second preheating period as well. It is indicated by a blue light pulsing for 15 seconds. Once it vibrates, it’s ready to use.

The normal mode for MOK 1.9 involves a single 5-minute vaping cycle. This mode is the factory default. The user must long press the heating button for 2 seconds. Once the holder vibrates, the blue light then pulses for 15 seconds. Wait until the holder vibrates again and the solid blue light appears. This indicates that the preheating is finished and that the user can now enjoy the stick. Once it’s near finished, the holder will vibrate again with a solid red light. The holder needs to be recharged when the red light turns off.

The double mode involves two 3 minute and 30 second vaping cycles. Much like the single mode, users can also long press the heating button for 2 seconds. Afterwards, the holder will vibrate and a solid blue light will appear. This signifies that the user can now use the COO tobacco stick. Near the end of each vaping cycle, the holder will vibrate again, this time with a solid red light. Once the red light turns off, the holder would need recharging.

MOK is a Heat-Not-Burn (HNB) device. HNB devices do not combust tobacco and instead heat it to a lower temperature. This releases nicotine-filled vapor instead of the harmful smoke of cigarettes.

Because there is no burning, MOK produces no ash, making clean up easier. MOK also does not produce any residual cigarette smell that may stick to clothing.

HNB devices do not make use of e-juice or nicotine in liquid form.

To use your MOK device, insert a heat-not-burn stick and long press the heating button for 2 seconds. Once the device vibrates, the blue light will then pulse for 15 seconds. Wait until the device vibrates again and a solid blue light appears. This indicates that preheating is finished and the device is ready for use.
